- You approve what leaves. Emails to clients and payments wait for an owner or admin. Then Clodou keeps watch: what is overdue, which reminders to send, what is still unbilled.

- It generates invoices, but it is more than a generator: every invoice is a record in your workspace, with a number in sequence, a status, payments and reminders, so Clodou knows who owes you money.
- Is Clodou accounting or bookkeeping software?
- No. Clodou has no bank feeds, double-entry bookkeeping, tax filing or payroll. It handles the billing side: clients, quotes, invoices, expenses, time and the follow-up. Your accountant or accounting software does the books.
- Does Clodou process supplier invoices (accounts payable)?
- No. AI invoice processing tools read the bills you receive and route them for payment. Clodou is for the invoices you send. It can read a receipt photo to prepare one of your expenses, which you review before it is saved.
- Can the AI send invoices or record payments on its own?
- No. Emailing a client and recording a payment wait for the approval of an owner or admin. The one exception is automatic payment reminders, which a Team workspace can switch on.
- Does Clodou work with Claude or ChatGPT?
- Clodou works with Claude as a custom connector, and with Claude Code, Cursor and other MCP clients with a personal token, through its MCP server. A ChatGPT connector has not been verified yet. Clodou's own chat needs no other assistant.
- How much does Clodou cost?
- Free costs $0 (20 AI actions a month, up to 5 clients). Solo is $29 a month or $290 a year. Team is $79 a month or $790 a year with 5 seats. Prices are per workspace, and every workspace starts with a 14-day Team trial with no card.
- Is my data used to train AI models?
- Clodou trains no model of its own, and the OpenAI API it uses does not use the data sent to it to train OpenAI's models. The data lives on one server in the European Union. Details are on the Security page.
