Yes. Each workspace is isolated by database access rules and only its members can see its records. The AI model provider does not train models on your data.
Clodou's database, including your workspace's records, and the files you upload are backed up every day, and the backups are kept for 30 days. Your quotes, invoices, expenses and payments also export at any time; for anything else, write to support@clodou.com for a copy. The Security page says where your data lives, who can see it and how it is backed up.
Your quotes, invoices, expenses and payments export at any time, on every plan, including Free: each quote or invoice downloads as a PDF, your list of quotes and invoices exports as CSV (one row per document, with its totals), and the accounting export gives your expenses and payments as CSV files any spreadsheet or accountant can open. For anything else, write to support@clodou.com for a copy. Cancelling a paid plan keeps the plan until the end of the period you paid for, then the workspace moves to the Free plan with its records, and you can ask for a full refund of any subscription payment within 30 days of it, no reason needed.
Quotes and invoices use your country's tax words (sales tax, VAT, GST or GST/HST) and your tax number. Currencies: USD, EUR, GBP, CAD, AUD, NZD, INR, SGD, ZAR and AED, for the workspace or per document, and amounts are never converted. A document can carry several taxes printed separately, such as GST and QST or CGST and SGST, and a line can be taxed differently or not at all. There is no e-invoicing yet.
No. Amounts always come from you. If a price, a client or a date is missing, it asks before acting.
Not unless you allow it. Payments, marking an invoice paid, client emails, deletions, invitations, settings changes and purchase orders wait for an owner's or admin's approval. The one exception you can switch on is automatic payment reminders (Team plan).
Yes. In Claude on the web, desktop or phone, add Clodou as a connector and sign in: there is nothing to copy. Claude Code, Cursor and other MCP clients connect with a personal token from Settings. They use the same tools as the chat, with the same approvals and Activity log; the Undo button is only in the Clodou chat.
It is not accounting software: no bank feeds, no double-entry bookkeeping, no tax filing and no payroll. It does not process card payments; on Solo and Team it prints your own payment link on invoices. Export CSV files and the profit & tax summary for your accountant.
